Beverage selection

NF has a fantastically nice bar with a wide range of drinks. We offer a variety of beers, ciders and other alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) beverages. In addition, we serve both beer and cider on tap. If you want a specific wine, whiskey or other alcohol that is not in our stock, it is fine to special order from us. The desired alcohol is then bought into our stock, and is sold at our prices. You pay +10% of that price as a fee for the special order. Special orders must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event to guarantee delivery on time. ATTENTION! It is fine to bring your own soft drinks and sparkling water, but no alcohol may be brought to the premises.

Accesability

The villa's two entrances lack a ramp, the toilets are not wheelchair accessible and there is no lift to the upper floor. As the villa is K-marked, it is unfortunately difficult to make any permanent changes to adapt accessibility.

Food

We cannot offer any food service, but we do offer a fully equipped kitchen with a convection oven where catered food can be heated.

Porcelain and decor

We have wine, champagne, schnapps and drinking glasses, water decanters, and also finer china with smaller plates, large plates and deep plates. We also include holders for tealights and flower vases; small vases for each table and a couple of large ones for flower bouquets. Other decorations are brought by the tenant.

Sound system

Smaller wall-mounted speakers are available, these can be connected to a mobile phone or computer.

Time

You have access to the premises from 17.00 to 03.00 on weekdays or from 10.00 to 03.00 on weekends.

Membership

Our alcohol permit applies to one member and one guest, so at least half of the guests must be members in NF. In this case, member means a support member of the Natural Sciences Faculty Club (for non-students or students at another university) or holder of the Student Card for members of Stockholm University's student union where the Natural Sciences Faculty Club is chosen as the faculty association.

You can become a member here for SEK 125/person/semester.

Staff

A host is required to rent the villa, but it is recommended to have at least two hosts depending on the size of the event. This can be discussed with the booking manager. The hosts are responsible for locking the villa, handling all alcohol and manning the bar. The staff is available throughout the rental period, and will therefore also be able to help you with cleaning.

Cleaning

The premises must of course be left in the same fine condition as you find them in. Please note that the basic rent does not include major cleaning or preparation of the premises. Both before your guests arrive, and when it's time for the guests to go home, the host will have to manage the bar and the alcohol, so cleaning and preparation is mostly up to you. The entire premises must be cleaned according to the cleaning document provided by the host.

Booking requests are sent to NF's booking manager at bokning@nf.su.se, where they are processed as soon as possible. You are also welcome to contact the booking manager if you have any questions about the villa or aout booking it!

Information that should be included in the booking request

• With what purpose you want to rent the villa

• The date of your event

• Arrival time and estimated finish time

• If you want our staff to handle any specific tasks

Deposit

A deposit (SEK 1000) needs to be paid no later than 5 days before the event. The remaining amount for the booking will be invoiced via e-mail. The invoice must be paid no later than one month after dispatch. If the premises are left in good condition, a deduction is made from the deposit in the invoice.

Lease agreement

When you contact the booking manager, you will be able to sign a booking agreement. The lease can be found here.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made no later than 14 days before the event by emailing bokning@nf.su.se. If cancellation is made later than agreed, a cancellation fee of SEK 1000 will be added.

Ther’s a basic rent depending on the event and day, and in connection with the premises rent, a supplement is required for personnel costs. Staff costs SEK 1900/person, which is the minimum based on a 10-hour work shift.
