Det har blivit dags för kandidatceremoni!

Naturvetenskapliga föreningen bjuder in alla som tar kandidatexamen inom den naturvetenskapliga fakulteten till en högtidlig och trevlig eftermiddag för att fira er examen tillsammans den 8 juni. Under ceremonin väntar tal, diplomutdelning och annat firande. Efteråt fortsätter kvällen med mingel på vår föreningslokal Gröna Villan.

OBS: Efterminglet på Gröna Villan har begränsat antal platser, så först till kvarn gäller. NF-medlemmar kommer dessutom att prioriteras vid anmälan. Tipsa gärna kursare så att ingen missar att anmäla sig. Ceremonin hålls i Albano, hörsal 2.

It’s time for the Bachelor’s Ceremony!

The Natural Sciences Faculty Club invites everyone graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Science to a celebratory afternoon to mark your graduation together on June 8th. During the ceremony there will be speeches, diploma presentations, and other celebrations. Afterwards, the evening continues with a mingle at our association venue, Gröna Villan.

Please note: The post-ceremony mingle at Gröna Villan has limited capacity, meaning spots will be given on a first come, first served basis. NF members will also be prioritised in the registration process. Please spread the word to fellow students so no one misses the chance to sign up. The ceremony will take place in Albano, Lecture Hall 2.

Här har du möjlighet att göra en nominering till Crux Rana (grodkorset), Naturvetenskapliga föreningens högsta hedersbetygelse. Nomineringen är öppen till 27e maj.

Beskrivningen av hedersbetygelsen lyder:

"Grodkorset är föreningens högsta hedersbetygelse. Utmärkelsen tilldelas den vars insatser för Föreningen har varit långvariga, vittomspännande och oskattbara. Medaljen kan endast tilldelas medlemmar, tidigare medlemmar, inspektor och tidigare inspektorer."

Crux Rana kan tilldelas högst en person om året och delas ut under Xenopus Gasque. En person kan inte nomiera sig själv till utmärkelsen. Av denna anledning måste personen som gör nomineringen uppge sitt för- och efternamn.

In this form you have the possibility to nominate someone for Crux Rana, the highest honorary award given out by the faculty club. The nomination is open until may 27th.

The description of the award reads:

"Crux Rana is the highest honor given by the faculty club. The award is given to someone whose contributions to the faculty club have been long lasting, all-encompasing, and invaluable. The medal can only be awarded to members, previous members, the inspector, or a previous inspector."

Crux Rana can only be awarded to a single person each year and will be handed over during Xenopus Gasque.  It is not permitted to nominate oneself for the award. For this reason the person making the nomination has to give their first and last name.

Vill du bli en zombie? Vi söker dig!

Nu är det dags för auditions för Naturvetarspexets och Klubbmästeriets Zombiesittningsspex, en sittning med spexteater! Det handlar om ett zombieutbrott på Gröna villan och om konflikten (men också kärleken…) mellan en Spexmästare och en Klubbmästare som nästan resulterar i Naturvetenskapliga föreningens splittring. Auditions hålls i första hand den 22/2 och sittningsspexet kommer framföras den 18/4. För mer info, se anmälningsformuläret:

The auditions are now open for Naturvetarspexet’s and the Clubmastery’s spex sitting! The theme will be zombies, and it is about a conflict (but also love) between the Spex and the Clubmastery that almost leads to the splitting of the Natural Sciences Faculty club. Auditions will be held February 22th and the sitting is on April 18th. For more information, see the form (it is in Swedish)

Naturvetenskapliga föreningen kallar till årsmöte 2/3 18:00 i hörsal 2.

Under mötet kommer budget, verksamhetsplan och medlemmsavgift för 2026, samt visionen för 2027-2029 behandlas. Frågan om fyllnadsval av vakanta poster kommer även lyftas. Mer information hittas här.

The Natural Sciences Faculty Club will hold its annual meeting the 2nd of March 18:00 in auditorium 2.

The meeting will deal with the question of the budget, operating plan, and membership fee for 2026, as well as the faculty club vision for 2027-2029. The meting will also raise the question of filling vacant roles. More information here.

Ni har nu möjlighet att skicka in nomineringar till en av Naturvetenskapliga föreningens hedersbetygelser, medaljen i Ruben G och Emma Lindqvists minne. Hedersbetygelsen är tänkt att uppmärksamma någon eller några som bidragit till föreningen och kommer delas ut under föreningens födelsedagsfirande i mars.

Vi söker revisorer till NF! Just nu har vi förtroendevalda Linn och Ebba som är verksamhets- respektive ekonomisk revisor, men de behöver varsin kollega för att kunna göra sitt jobb på bästa sätt! Rollen innebär att granska föreningen och se till att allt går till enligt våra stadgar och Sveriges lagar.

We are looking for auditors for NF! Currently we have elected Linn and Ebba which are operational and economic auditors respectively, but they need an colleague each to do their job the best way possible. The work includes to inspect NF to make sure that its and Sweden's rules are followed.
