Are you eager to meet other students and learn Swedish student traditions? Whether you are a new student or have studied for a while but haven’t been kicked into student life properly yet, this midsummer-themed dinner party is perfect for you! Come for a crash course in student traditions and meet new friends! This dinner party will be held in English and is therefore specifically targeted towards exchange students, but everyone is welcome!

At “sittningar” or student dinner parties, the guests get served with a three-course dinner, punsch and nubbe (traditional Swedish spirits) and sing drinking songs. Often there is often a theme and corresponding games. At sittings you are often expected to “spex” - that is perform some kind of sketch in three parts, but don’t forget to ask the toastmasters for permission!
